The Church Has Always Been 'Open'

Here's a picture of an open air church service during the 1918 pandemic. It's always good to be reminded that we’re not the first ones to face the things we do. Truly, there’s nothing new under the sun.

Covid-19 is not the end of the world, God has always kept his church “open” since the beginning of the world. This too will pass, life will go on, and the world still needs the good news of the gospel today and tomorrow until the last of the elect come in, and then the end will come (Matt. 24:14).

Christ left his church on this earth for a purpose, the gates of hell cannot prevail against her, and nothing can stop the ordained plan to evangelize the nations.

Dear Christians, be bold, confident, and unafraid, we hold the Word of the king, and are members of his kingdom that he has promised will endure forever.
