Christian liberty should not be exercised in a way that causes a brother or sister to stumble or feel judged. The sermon emphasizes that judgment over differences in conviction—such as food or observance of days—is contrary to Christian love. Instead, believers should pursue righteousness, peace, and mutual upbuilding, focusing on the core principles of faith. Ultimately, the Christian life is guided by love, which requires those who are "strong" in their convictions to concede to maintain unity and peace in the body of Christ.
